The Draft should include a clause which explictly makes it mandatory for the electronic and print media to daily highlight the cases being probed by the Lokpal together with the progress on them on a weekly basis. The cases pertaining to a State can be highlighted by the media of that State as a start. This would effectively keep "corruption" alive in the minds of the the people and ensure no derailment of the process.

A Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) and Panchayat authority such as sarpanch etc have not been included in the defination of a "PUBLIC SERVANT". Please make this addition so that we can weed out corruption at a grass root level.. All the best in your endeavour for a beautiful india.

Dear Sir... It is a great oppurtunity for the citizens of India to give their suggestion on Lokpal Bill. It is understood that the bill will be specically for high profile personality.. So it is requested that following may be considered:-
(a) The persons/ organisation involved with curruption may not be permitted to participate any election till the time the honarable Courts decision is pending.
(b) No bailable warrant be issued aginst the culprit. His all the property, bank account be ceased.

I appreciate the endeavour, I would like to say that even judges must be included in the Lokpal bill in order to make judiciary transparent and decide the matter on merits.

Its about the time that India is heading towards lokpal bill to curb down corruption.I'm sure there are provisions for penalties and severe penalties for any corrupt person either ite political or civil. My understanding is that bribes to government officials for any work is a crime to begin with. Each district and state must have its complain box website for civil people to report any such demands from government officials or police officers and must be justified for better basic clean ups from its roots.Tough administration is required with provision to penalize those corrupts in lower level of government. This will establish confidence of civil public in their government and this Lokpal bill must be administrated by a separate independent branch of governing body which is not associated to any of these politicians and must not have any intereference from them.If they have to manage this bill, then they will manage with their terms and no results to control corruption.
Those found corrupt. their properties including their bank accounts must be confiscated since all the wealth accumulated is by corruptions only.I'm a US citizen with Indian identity. In USA similar provisions are there for people either political or civil background found guilty with frauds and corruptions where their properties and bank accounts are consfiscated and all the assets are deposited in government control.
This provision once administrated, then there will be a big dip in political or civil corruption.
